Rehearse His Truth

I have known several mighty women of God who have battled cancer. Some won their battle this side of heaven and others won their battle by seeing our Savior face to face.  One precious sister was a pastor's wife that I was blessed to minister with.  I was a witness as she fought in the strength of Christ. I was honored to sit by her hospital bed and lift her up to our Lord.  She won her three year battle by victoriously entering the presence of her Savior. She lived boldly for her God and her walk of faith taught me so much. I prayed that if I ever had to battle cancer that I would be the testimony of God that she was.
I should have been more careful what I prayed for because God must have decided to see if I meant that. Although, He chose to allow a different "cancer" into my life. Not a cancer of the physical body, but a "cancer" that has shaken me to the core. Being shaken makes it hard to walk and especially hard to in walk in faith. But, God gave me an unshakable promise that, this "sickness" will not end in death (John 11:4). And I praise Him for this promise.  But as this walk of faith continues and prayers are not always answered the way I want, I have to cling to His unshakable promise and truth.

One way to cling to God’s promises is to rehearse His truth.  Actually, say the truth of His Word out loud.  Well, I cannot really type them out loud, but I will type them with passion.

God knows my way - Psalm 142:3

God never leaves me or forsakes me - Joshua 1:9

God has a good plan - a plan for hope & a future - Jeremiah 29:11

God hears me - Micah 7:7

God is the lifter of my head - Psalm 3:3

God is victory - Psalm 112:7-8

you will reap if you don't lose heart - Galatians 6:9

the thief is here to destroy - Jesus brings real life - John 10:10

God can turn harm into good for His glory - Genesis 50:20

God is present right now - Psalm 54:4

God is:   my Rock

               my Salvation

               my Fortress

               my Mighty Rock

               my Refuge    - Psalm 62:6-7

Greater is HE   - I John 4:4

God sees me - Genesis 16:13

He is our Great Reward!!!!  Genesis 15:1

Rehearse it!!!!
