What Great Love

He is the King of kings and Lord of lords and yet we get to call Him Abba, Father. It is so amazing that God, the Creator of all there is, who does not need us, but He chooses to reveal Himself to us and work through us. In Ephesians 1:4 Paul tells us, “For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight.” And then to think that Jesus is seated at the right hand of God makes Ephesians 2:20 even more wonderful, “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.” It just goes to prove 1 John 3:1, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”
